Thank you for stopping by! I'm Whitney Byrd, owner and operator of Beauty By B Aesthetic Studio. I am a professional makeup artist and licensed aesthetician located in Brooklyn Center, MN. If you would've asked me 5 years ago where'd I think I'd be right now; being a full-time self-employed makeup artist would be the last thing on my list. This was a gift I didn't know I had. In fact, my peers seen it in me. Of course I'd play in makeup and watch Youtube tutorials to learn how to perfect my brows but knowing how to apply makeup on others is a whole different ball game. With so much peer pressure from ladies asking me to "do their face just like mine", I decided to give it ago. In 2015 I started practicing on close friends and family right in the bathroom of my house. 2016 I accumulated so many clients that I quit my job and started working at a barber and beauty salon. October of 2017 I received my aesthetics license from Empire Beauty School. In February of 2018 I opened up my studio. Getting involved in the beauty industry is the best decision I've made and most rewarding. I love my clients and I'm very blessed to have this gift from God.
